SOVAM S.A.S. and its official distributor in Russia and the CIS AIRFLOT TECHNICS TH Ltd. (Moscow, Russia, www.airflottechnics.ru) have taken part of  the most important aviation and space event in Russia held in August 2011 (16-21/08/2011) - the International Aviation and Space salon  (MAKS)-2011.
SOVAM S.A.S. and AIRFLOT TECHNICS TH Ltd. have presented  4 ground support equipment during the Salon: 2 passenger steps SPS 9.19 and  Aircraft tractors  K100 and  baggage tractor K32. Moreover,  the passenger step SPS 9.19 of the brand SOVAM has served on Sunday, the 14th of August, to receive the delegation of the company AIRBUS S.A.S. coming with the biggest A380 passenger aircraft in the world .
The International Aviation and Space salon MAKS is a rightful occupant of a leading position in the ratings of major world aviation forums.
MAKS is held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, being traditionally opened by the President of the Russian Federation.
The International Aviation and Space salon MAKS is held this year  in the town of aircraft science and technology - Zhukovsky - at the airfield of the major national testing facility - Gromov Flight Research Institute.
Organized for the first time in 1992 as «Mosaeroshow-92 »,  the event received its actual name in 1993 and is held every 2 years in August in addition to the famous « Salon du Bourget » which is held a couple of weeks earlier. 
The organizer of the Salon is the Trade and industry Ministry of the Russian Federation.
